So, I think I've decided that my life is pretty boring, and not worth blogging about. It seems that most of the time it's only Corrie who reads it anyways, and I tell her all the good stuff when we talk. So, I don't think I'm gonna be doing this anymore, at least not for a while. Don't get me wrong...I've become addicted to reading and commenting on everyone else's blogs, but that's part of the problem...it doesn't seem like anyone reads mine, so why waste my time?

We're in the money

Ok, it's official...I'm going to the bank to deposit OUR FIRST CHECK FOR MJ SOLUTIONS! :) My boss took delivery of his new unit today. I told him I was going to make a copy of the check he gave me and frame it. hehe

A great start

Today I got our first customer!!!!! And actually, it was 2!!!!!!!!! I was talking to one of my McDonalds clients (she is REALLY rich!) and suggested that she purchase one because her daughter suffers from allergies. She already owns 2 Ionic Breezes, but said she'd buy one of my units and if they like how it works, she'll buy another one. Her house is about 7000 square feet, so she'll need 2. Anyways, my boss also said "And don't forget mine!" YIPEE! That's an awesome way to start our new business! :) I am very happy, needless to say! :)

Our New Adventure - MJ Solutions

Well, we did it! We started our own business! Today, Michael and I spent ALL day jumping thru hoops...first the "Fictious Name Filing", then off to the State Board of Equalization for a seller's permit, then to City Hall to apply for a Home Occupation Permit and Business License...only to find out that our landlord had to sign off showing knowledge of use of her home. So then it was on to Downey for her signature and back to City Hall to file. After all that we went to the bank to open a Business account. Holy cow! There's a lot that goes in to trying to run a business, even if it's a small one! But now, we are ready to go and we've received our first shipment of Air Purifiers by Ecoquest...SOOOO if you or anyone you know would like to try one out, or purchase one from us, we have a 3 day trial available. We really are excited about this and hope and pray that God will provide us with enough customers to subsidize our income enough for Michael to be able to truly do something he enjoys.
